

ITERATION
I collaborated with the Product team to come up with a series of emails to be sent throughout the journey for Beta users. Using those guidelines, I met with designers working on the StreamOn UI to develop a template that was more branded and aligned with what users would see on the website.

DETAILED DESIGN
The final result included emails that were more readable, scannable, and better explained what to expect from the StreamOn experience. The new templates were so successful that they have since been expanded for use across Viasat product segments outside of StreamOn.
StreamOn Email Campaign
Viasat is set to launch a new service in collaboration with Disney+ to mimic the streaming experience--something that satellite internet customers often struggle with due to bandwith issues. My role was to design a new email template and campaign for Beta users across the customer journey.

PROBLEM
StreamOn requires a customer to plug a hard drive into their modem in order to download content from Disney+. This allows them to watch TV and movies without impacting their High-Speed Data. This new concept was complex to grasp and we needed to make sure we were educating customers across all touchpoints.
RESEARCH
An audit of the existing Beta emails unveiled wordy, outdated designs that did little to help customers understand the value of StreamOn. I presented research and used best practices to validate the need for developing a new email template for the campaign.
